do not reuse pasta water to make rice

I boiled pasta w “saute” in da instant pot

Scoopie out the pasta. A lot of water left… I needed 2 make rice…. idea….

“Rice” the rice in the instant pot. Natural steam release as uz.

Zamn.

The top of the rice is not cooked.

I ate it this morning….

salty…. (I do not normally salt rice…)

weird…. chewy….

do not reuse pasta water to make rice.

caveat: mayb gud 4 sushi rice… cuz chewy… sticky….
