WEBCOMICS

The art, the plot, the characters, EVERYTHING is amazing. Amazing perfect splendid art & character designs. Engaging plot with a lot of similarities to ORV in regards to explorations of how readers interact with stories & breaking down the fourth wall. I wouldn’t hesitate a second to buy physical copies if this ever goes to print (it really should). You need to read it right now before it gets daily passed.

This is actually a healthy harem situation (?) like don’t be thinking it’s a misandrist reverse harem situation. It’s more just like there’s multiple men pursuing the female lead but it’s like respectful competition and everyone was aware of what they were getting into when they joined the harem LOL.
Also Latil (the FL) is slaying – she can step on me fr. Also despite the title making it seem like one of those very horny webcomics, this is actually extremely plot-focused and there’s no smut. The harem was created for political reasons when our girl took the throne. Like she still hasn’t slept with any of these hotties out of respect for them.

super freaking cute short story. premise is the title – a high school gyaru girl starts crushing on a CD store employee that is actually her classmate who j dresses really different outside of school & they bond over their love of American rock music. super cute & wholesome friends to lovers.

It’s also very silly. The background characters are great – the only notable boy is just a stan of the otp (slay) & the uncle of the CD store girl is super silly and supportive. This world does not have homophobia.
So far literally the only ONLY singular negative thing has been a small mention of fatphobia (one of the gyaru’s wishes at the shrine is a casual mention of wanting her thighs to lose fat). Alas.

one of my favs…. the tags say it all… basically hotties being the shit out of each other. Realistically, they should all be in a coma. BAMF fight scenes. Some of the BAMF is pretty morally grey… but who cares… (not me).
Also the bromance is seriously touching. Angsty pasts.
There are like zero notable female characters tho… (but that means… they must be gay…. right….?)
I love the art-style. It’s so expressive and simply just fire emoji.

The plot feels kinda choppy / doesn’t make sense sometimes though. Like some of these family dynamics and character decision-making make no sense to me… maybe that’s just cuz I can’t relate? It might make sense to some other people. Idk.
Overall, recommend for a fun light read.

Uhhh so I recently binged this for like 12 hrs straight (not bc it’s that good but I really needed to dissociate from life for a second :P)

Follows a trio of three girl besties in their relationships. MC is specifically on the search for a mystery guy who gave her an amazing orgasm some years ago that she’s never been able to have since.

The main reason for the low rating is because one of the pairings is literally BDSM-without-consent-so-it’s-basically-rape. This is another one of those webcomics that I think is expressing the latent socially-unaccepted desires of women (being a Dom & liking cross-dressing men) similar to rapey themes in a lot of BLs BUT I still don’t think that excuses the coercion & complete lack of consent depicted in the relationship. The girl treats the guy like total shit during sex and in general. It was horrible to read and I started scrolling past them after trying to give some of the scenes a chance but it kept just getting more and more nauseating… If authors want to play out their non-con fantasies in their works, I fully believe that they need to have a disclaimer that IT IS A FANTASY and that is EXTREMELY NOT OK IRL. Rape is way too common irl for us to look the other way when it’s portrayed in media. The fact is that a lot of young people form their beliefs around sex according to online media.

Besides that, the other gross thing was dick-size shaming. Ugh!!!! Guys… repeat after me… GIRL POWER DOES NOT MEAN MISANDRY!!!! NO BODY SHAMING OF ANYONE!!!!! Like please… just mutual respect & enthusiastic consent from everyone…. please….

I kept reading because, again, going hard into that dissociation and also the other relationships going on seemed promising. The main relationship does end up being super cute & one of the side relationships is SUPER cute yuri that also covers internalized fatphobia/body image issues in relationships which is a slay. The friendship between the three women is also great & refreshing to see them talk so openly about sex.

The artstyle was okay to me. The artist knows how to draw bods for sure but the faces have that eyes-too-huge uncanny valley look if you look too hard…

I normally give an automatic 1/5 with rape/non-con but because this webcomic is one of the few that depict women being so open about sex & the other relationships are sweet, I give it a 2/5. Only recommend it for those reasons BUT you’ll have to scroll past the horrible rapey relationship. Sigh.

ok so I watched s1-3 a couple years go and just recently watched s4. so my review is gonna be biased towards what’s in s4.
anyways yeah I really enjoyed this show!!!! ah!!!!! fabulous queer representation, very pretty visually (everyone’s outfits are cooking), great messages and interesting storylines, and so many detailed, well-done characters! srsly! Idk if I’ve watched any other show with this many characters that I like/care about. maeve, aimee, adam, jackson, ruby, cal, so many more… (sorry otis is cool and all but I’m still lowk grossed out by him… sorry otis… I know it’s part of your condition of being a teen boy but I still think ur gross… maeve deserves better…like me….). I love aimee she’s so nice and silly and fun. and I like ruby…. I like the mean girls who are actually nice trope… ahhhh and adam is so silly and wholesome in the end too. and jackson and cal ahhhh… so many great characters.
the setting is also great. they just be walking and biking around! so many biking scenes! the scottish landscape is pretty! bicycles! yippee!!!!
I love all the stuff the show talks about – I think it did an amazing job covering sex/sexuality/relationships. Being christian and gay, dealing with “lowkey” sexual assault, dealing with adoption, kinky shit, adult relationships, even the stuff about Adam’s family and his parent’s issues, EVEN his father’s journey to becoming a better person, was really well-done.
I can’t remember anything in particular that I really didn’t like. maybe I’ll remember something random and change my rating. I’m kinda sleepy rn harhar. anyways. 5 for now. def rec it!!! u queers!!! u better watch this shit!1!!
also idk how maeve doesn’t end up being queer. dis girl looks queer af and was still with otis for that long? huhn?? it don’t make sense…. I’ll treat u better maeve….

I’ve only watched eps 1 & 2 so far but dang it’s SO CUTE so far. Older pairing (late 20s/30) which is always good in romance imo (no chance of freaky age gap power dynamic shit). The pairing obviously has chemistry and are already sooooo cute. Definitely recommend.

I must say that this is certifably one of the movies of all time. it’s genuinely wack as hell. while watching it was I j like 😦😦🫨😦💏😦😋. anyways yeah you should watch it. this is the crazy deranged feminist comedy that Barbie wanted to be. but don’t expect it to be deep and anything serious. go into it knowing it’s wack as shit and silly lmfao and you’ll have a great time. also roby cruz…. erm………. I will be scrolling ruby cruz edits now…….
