Pretty decent. Don’t think I’d buy these again but they are pretty solid. “Spicy flavor carried” – commentary from sib. Granted, we ate them plain. They’d probably be better in a burger/sandwich. Pretty good as vegan chicken and waffles tho w some maple syrup.
I haven’t had a real chicken meat sandwich in a while but I feel like these patties would have to be thicker/meatier to pass more as real meat. These vegan chicken patties are quite flat…
Ethics/Sustainability Notes: Non-GMO soy but other ingredients are genetically engineered…
Parent company is Kraft Heinz which is like a mega-mega-mega company so that’s prob not good
And I was quite peeved at the packaging of these. It’s a 12 pack but they come individually wrapped in plastic baggies w 2 patties per baggie -_-💀 and all of that inside a cardboard box. I mean at that point, I’d rather it just be a big plastic bag that I can at least reuse for trash bag or as a planter or something… idk if that’d be more plastic overall though but yeah. They could do better on packaging.
Our Prep: 2 min microwave on a plate + 2.5 min toast in toaster oven.
