I try to do similar prep for everything but ya know sometimes I’m in a hurry and gotta use the microwave & sometimes I got enough time for the whole toaster ordeal. I am also of the belief that chicken nuggets are a food that should prep well in the microwave. In any case, I will note in my review how I prepped it.

Simulate Nuggs (orig): 4.5/5
microwaved & toasted (best prep method imo – fast & nuggs stay crispy!)
Yumminess: 4/5 overall… tasty! Flavor & texture both great. Not mind blowing tho – not sure if it lives up the marketing. But then again, does anything?
Similarity: 5/5 pretty darn similar. like mcd’s nuggets

Good & Gather Meatless Chikc’n Tenders: 2.5/5
these were microwaved only. I think they’d be better with a toast
Yumminess: 3/5 not very flavorful & soggy. very spongey tofu-like (but not in a good way) interior.
Similarity: 2/5 you can definitely tell this is a vegan alternative. the texture was just mushy
