hrmmm so I was adverse to this at first and I’m still kinda undecided about it… it has a super sharp, pungent taste which I guess is expected of parmesan but I feel like it’s moreso a concentrated version of the vegan cheese wierd barfy pungent flavor/smell than actual parmesan? but it’s also been like 7 years since I’ve had dairy cheese & I only ever used the cheapo shaker parmesan before so idk
anyways, it’s definitely grown on me and it’s pretty decent as an addition to pasta. I wouldn’t buy it regularly though. Just when I’m having a particular craving for parmesan…
also it makes your fingers smell super stinky after you’ve grated it onto pasta lol. But maybe this is expected of parmesan? It does grate well.
Also it keeps well in the freezer.
